lucid cowl from wieseknit
lucid cowl can be opened and closed at the front with a zip that is fitted at the end. The neck piece is folded and knitted together when the shoulder piece is started and becomes a double-knit neck in stockinette stitch.
There are turnbuckles at the neck to get a raised neck, raglan cuts with right and left cuts, and turnbuckles at the end of the yoke, both front and back, to give a nice round edge to the yoke.
It is finished with an i-cord edge all around.
This collar is practical and has many uses as an extra layer on a cold winter day, or as a warm layer around the neck and neck under a light coat for both spring and autumn. The zip makes it flexible in use as it can be zipped all the way up, which means that it does not have to be pulled down over your head.
lucid cowl is easy to go to. It has a functional design, which at the same time has small fine details that give it an elegant appearance.

Sizes
Str. 1: 34-35 cm
(Size 2): 37-38 cm
Str. 3: 41 cm
(Size 4): 42-43 cm
Str. 5: 45 cm
Fit:
The above measurements are the circumference of the collar (incl. zipper) when it is finished knitting and washed. The size includes room for movement of approximately 3-5 cm. Measuring your neck e.g. 34 cm in circumference, you must choose size 2, so that it gets the fit with the movement space intended for the neckline. Tip: The less room for movement, the tighter the collar around the neck. Therefore, I recommend, for those who want a tighter collar, to make the room for movement smaller than otherwise recommended.
