About the yarn
Recycled Bottle Yarn from Karen Klarbæk is an unusually sustainable yarn, made from recycled plastic bottles. 2-3 PET polyester bottles are used for a skein of yarn dyed with Oeko-tek's standard 100 colours. The water used for production is used several times and is subsequently directed to sanitary conditions.

Excluded bottles of 100% polyester are used, and the yarn can therefore be reused when it can no longer be used.

Washing instructions
Recycled Bottle Yarn can withstand up to 60 degrees, but can often be cleaned by simply wiping it over with a damp cloth, rinsing it under the tap or washing it at 30 degrees as needed.
