Scalloped Cardigan from Odd Row
A cardigan in garter stitch with fine lace edges at the sleeves and along the front edge. The special construction means that you only knit back and forth on the needle and therefore only knit stitches. 

The masks are cast on with Judy's Magic Cast On adapted to the measurement that suits your arm length. First, turn rows are knitted on the back, towards the sleeves. Then knit the first rows of the lace pattern at both sleeve edges until the work is divided at the neck and continue knitting on the right side. Lace edges are knitted on both sides of the piece while increases and decreases are made at the neck opening. After this, turn rows are made from the sleeve towards the body. The left side is knitted in the same way.

The sleeves are sewn together with a mesh stitch and the body is knitted to the desired length with lace edges along the front edge. It ends with an Icelandic closure.

You can choose to put buttons in your cardigan - the holes in the lace edge are used as buttonholes. You can also knit a belt or leave it open.
