Note: The Socktober Pack is a made-to-order item. This means that you pay for your package now, after which we manufacture the products for you. Your order will be shipped in the later half of September. 

What is Socktober?

Socktober is an online phenomenon where knitters all over the world knit socks during October, using the hashtag #socktober on social media.

At Wool Collective, we celebrate Socktober by gathering knitters in a month-long KAL. We will knit the coolest socks from talented designers in our hand-dyed luxury yarn. And you're invited!

To join, purchase a Socktober package on this site and get ready for October.

In the package you will find yarn and patters for four pairs of socks, a special edition mini tote bag and small hand-picked goodies. You will receive instructions about hashtags, online events and the framework for the KAL in your package.

The socks have been designed especially for the occasion by a number of talented designers.

What's in the package?

A Socktober package consists of:
- Four patterns, designed for the occasion (Danish & English versions included)
- Hand-dyed sock yarn for all four patterns
- A Socktober themed mini tote bag
- Mixed small surprises (e.g. knitting equipment, accessories or a little snack)

Who are the designers this year?

We are proud to collaborate with the following designers this year:

- Camilla Wiese // Wieseknit
- Dorte Bak // Dorte Bak Knitting

What can I expect from the theme?

The four designers have each chosen a female muse as inspiration for their design. The socks are based on either the woman herself or one of her artistic works, which can be expressed both through structures, patterns and colours. The four patterns are paired with yarns that have been developed in dialogue with the designers, so that they help tell the story of the four muses.

What should I be aware of?

The Socktober package is a made-to-order item. This means that you pay for your package now, after which we manufacture the products for you. Your order will be shipped in the later half of September. Depending on your location, you may not receive the package by October 1st.

Please note that some of the scheduled activities will only be available in Danish.
