It is knitted from the bottom up, and holes are taken into the hole pattern around the middle of the work. The pattern becomes quickly recognizable and on needle 4 it goes relatively quickly despite the many stitches. The skirt is intended for summer due to the elegant and airy hole pattern, but can easily be worn on cold days with a pair of tights or leggings underneath.
