Thor from Knit By TrineP
There is nothing as beautiful as a classic ribbed blouse. The elastic rib grows with the child and can therefore fit for a long time. It is comfortable to wear as it is never tight, even though it fits close to the body. In other words, it is perfect for everyday life at child height.
Thor has a nice smock pattern on the front to give the blouse some more life and give it a rustic look. Thor has a half-high neck, so it protects against cool weather, and emphasizes the shoulder area and chest. The shirt is called Thor because it has a strong expression and because the smock pattern looks like lightning, which breaks an otherwise conservative rib pattern. Despite the name, it is also really nice for girls.
The pattern is easy and it's a good project if you're a beginner.
Working process: The sweater is knitted in the round from top to bottom. The carrier piece is shaped with raglan openings. The whole sweater is knitted in rib, but on the front piece along the raglan a smock pattern is knitted every 8th round. The sweater is knitted with a half-high neck.
Difficulty level:
Can be knitted by beginners/slightly experienced. The sweater is easy to knit as the pattern simply consists of ribbing with a smock pattern on the yoke. You will find written instructions for the pattern in the recipe.
