VesterbyCrea No. 36 from VesterbyCrea
VesterbyCrea No. 36 is a sweater knitted with raglan stitches and a pattern based on garter stitch and 'long stitches' that form the waves. The model is knitted from top to bottom.
The carrier print is first worked back and forth with turning needles and raglan openings in the front to form the neck and to knit it higher at the back of the neck. The carrier piece is gathered to knit in the round and further raglan removals are knitted until the sleeve stitches can be put to rest and the body is finished knitting in the round with wave stitch. The body is finished with a ribbed hem and elastic closure.
The sleeves are knitted in the round from the resting stitches in wave stitch and finished with rib as on the body. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline where a short ribbed edge is knitted.
The sweater is assembly-free.
