Workshop for those who want to knit with scraps
On Thursday 26 September at 18.30-21.30 we will knit stitches together for a sweater using scraps of yarn you have brought from home.

Dina helps with how different types of yarn can be put together, how to knit reversible needles, when to change yarn and what size, length, etc. will suit the individual knitter.

Together we will find out how exactly your leftovers can be used in different ways, so that you get the most out of them.

The aim is to cast up stitches, knit double crochets and change colour.

The workshop is held in our showroom at Kirke Værløse 34, 3500 Værløse .

Free choice from a mixed box with leftovers as a supplement to the knitting project

You must bring
All the scraps you want to knit with. If necessary, choose a color theme in advance. You can choose several shades of the same color or different colors that just make you happy. Make sure that there is both a little merino in different thicknesses, a little mohair and possibly a little effect yarn, if you have something like this.

In addition, you must use circular needles 6 & 7 mm. If you knit with interchangeable needles and magic loop, we recommend that you have both 60 & 80 cm wire with you. Also bring a tape measure and a knitting needle.

You must be able to cast on stitches, knit and purl and want to have tried German short rows from home (the latter is not a must).

About the teacher
Dina from Uhlala Knitwear has become a true master of leftover knitting. Her portfolio of knitting models ranges widely, but they all have one thing in common, that they are great for getting to the bottom of the stock of leftover yarn.

As a teacher, Dina is both helpful and energetic when she guides through techniques and yarn compositions, so that everyone can participate
